Review damage and share reports

Open an inspection from Inspections or the vehicle’s or booking’s inspection history. Wait for analysis to finish, then check the photos and findings before sharing the customer report. Managing findings and sharing a report requires permission to manage vehicles.

Check the vehicle and photos

Confirm that the inspection belongs to the right vehicle. If it has no vehicle, choose Link vehicle and search by name or number plate. Use Change vehicle to correct a match where available. An inspection linked to a booking must use that booking’s vehicle.

Review the photos even when the result says No damage detected. Open Coverage needs attention or Coverage and analysis details to check missing angles and areas that could not be judged.

If an area needs clearer evidence, choose Add close-ups, select up to eight photos, and use Save and analyse close-ups. Nomora analyses the added photos and keeps existing findings and decisions.

Review every finding

  1. Select a finding and inspect its marked photos. Use the other photos and zoom controls to check the same area from different angles.
  2. Check whether it matches existing vehicle damage. Use Compare with existing damage when available to select an existing record, or Record as new damage for a new defect.
  3. Choose Confirm damage for a real defect or Not damage for a reflection, dirt or another false detection.
  4. Use Edit damage to correct the panel, type, severity, description or photo marking. Use Add damage for a defect the analysis missed, select its evidence photo and save it.

Confirmed findings feed the vehicle’s damage records. Linking a finding to existing damage keeps the inspection’s evidence with that record. Review every AI suggestion before sending the report to a customer.

If analysis fails or has incomplete checks, resolve that before sending the report. Saving photos alone does not mean their condition has been reviewed.

Check the report

Open the Report tab. It reflects your current decisions and includes confirmed damage, supporting photos and any known new or pre-existing classification. Dismissed findings and internal analysis details stay out of the customer report.

If findings remain undecided, the report shows that review is in progress. Once every finding has a decision, the inspection is Reviewed. Check the vehicle and coverage before sharing, even when no damage was detected.

The PDF and shared report use your organization’s customer-facing language setting, with English as the fallback.

Download or share

After analysis finishes, the Report tab offers these actions:

  • Download PDF saves the current report with its evidence photos.
  • Share link, then Copy link, creates a link the customer can open without signing in. Send it through your usual customer communication channel. Creating the link does not send an email automatically.
  • Revoke link stops access through the shared link. Sharing again creates a new one.

A booking-linked inspection whose analysis is ready also appears in the booking’s Documents section as a live PDF attachment, with no signing step.

If a PDF cannot be generated because an evidence photo could not load, retry the download once the photo is available.

Correct a report after sharing

Return to Review and change the decisions or damage details. You can also correct the vehicle link or add close-ups. The report updates with your changes, and the existing shared link shows the latest version.

Nomora flags when the report content differs from the last PDF download or share. PDFs already downloaded do not change, so send an updated PDF if the customer needs a new copy.
