Booking on Your Own Website
Your customers can search, browse and book without leaving your website. Nomora provides a set of building blocks that render in your site’s own look: a search bar, a vehicle list, a vehicle page and a checkout. Availability, prices, extras, insurance, deposits and payments all come live from your Nomora account, and every booking lands in Nomora like any other.
There are two ways to add the blocks: the Nomora Booking WordPress plugin, or a script snippet for any other website builder.
WordPress plugin
- Install the Nomora Booking plugin (download the zip from your Nomora account team, or from the WordPress plugin directory once listed) via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then activate it
- Go to Settings → Nomora Booking and enter your operator slug. That is the last part of your Guest Book link: for
book.nomora.io/your-companythe slug isyour-company - Create your pages and add the blocks from the block picker (search “Nomora”):
- Rent a car: the Nomora Search block, then the Nomora Vehicles block
- Vehicle: the Nomora Vehicle block
- Book: the Nomora Checkout block
- Back in Settings → Nomora Booking, pick those three pages under Booking pages so the blocks link to each other, and save
That is a complete flow. You can also keep everything on one page and leave the page settings empty; the blocks then update in place.
Each block is also a shortcode, for themes and builders without the block editor:
[nomora_search]
[nomora_vehicles]
[nomora_vehicle]
[nomora_checkout]Block options
- Nomora Search: hide the location picker with
[nomora_search location="false"] - Nomora Vehicles: show one class only with
[nomora_vehicles class="suv"], hide filters withfilters="false", hide vehicles that are booked for the chosen dates withonly_available="true" - Nomora Vehicle: pin a specific vehicle with
[nomora_vehicle id="VEHICLE_ID"](the id is at the end of the vehicle’s Guest Booking Link); without it, the block shows whichever vehicle the customer clicked - Nomora Checkout: no options needed. It reads the vehicle and dates from the link the customer followed
Any other website
Add the script once, then place the blocks where you want them. Each block is an empty element with a data-nomora attribute:
<script
src="https://app.nomora.io/widget/v1/nomora.js"
data-operator="your-company"
data-vehicle-url="/vehicle"
data-checkout-url="/book"
async
></script>
<div data-nomora="search"></div>
<div data-nomora="vehicles"></div>On the vehicle page use <div data-nomora="vehicle"></div>, and on the checkout page <div data-nomora="checkout"></div>. The data-results-url, data-vehicle-url and data-checkout-url attributes tell the blocks where the next step lives; leave them out when everything is on one page.
Colours and fonts
The blocks use your site’s font. To change the accent colour or the corner radius, add a CSS rule to your site (in WordPress: Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS):
.nomora-booking {
--nomora-primary: #c2410c;
--nomora-radius: 8px;
}What customers see
- Search with dates, times and pick-up location. Vehicles show live availability for the chosen dates and “from” prices
- The checkout follows your Guest Book settings: which renter fields are shown or required, extras, insurance, promo codes, deposits, advance payments and VAT
- Card and bank payments open your payment provider’s page and return to your checkout page, where the confirmation appears. Cash bookings and inquiries confirm without leaving the page
- Pick-up and return times follow your booking rules: times outside your opening hours can’t be picked, closed days are explained, and dates that need your approval become booking requests without payment
- Each vehicle shows its included mileage and the price per extra kilometre, from the class or vehicle settings
- The language follows your Guest Book default language (English, Lithuanian or Polish); the plugin’s Language setting can override it
- On a multilingual WordPress site (Polylang or WPML), choose Match the page language. Map the booking pages once in your main language; each translated page then links to the booking pages in its own language
Current limitations
- Driver’s licence photo fields cannot be uploaded through the blocks yet. If your Guest Book requires licence photos, the checkout asks the customer to finish on your Guest Book instead; if they are optional, it asks them to bring the licence to pick-up
- The return location is always the pick-up location
