GPS tracking
Connect a supported tracking account to bring vehicle odometers and rental trip data into Nomora. Start with connecting and linking vehicles. A connected account still needs the correct tracking unit linked to each vehicle.
Supported providers
| Provider | Odometer sync | Rental trip data | Fuel in the rental report | Customer remote lock and unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wialon | Yes, if the unit reports an odometer. | Distance and available report fields. | When the unit’s sensors and report supply it. | Supported with compatible hardware and remote access configured. |
| Linqo | Yes, from available tracking data. | Distance and available trip fields. | When supplied by the trip data. | Not supported by this integration. |
| Mapon | Yes, if the unit reports an odometer. | Route distance. | Not supplied in Nomora’s rental report. | Not supported by this integration. |
| FleetComplete | Yes, if the unit reports an odometer. | Trip distance and available speed data. | Not supplied in Nomora’s rental report. | Not supported by this integration. |
| GPS Live | Yes, if the device reports a usable odometer. | Distance and speed derived from history. | Not supplied in Nomora’s rental report. | Not supported. The integration reads tracking data only. |
The report can only show information your account and device supply. A provider offering another feature in its own portal does not mean Nomora exposes that feature.
Open a linked vehicle’s booking to view its telemetry card for the rental period. To update the vehicle’s stored odometer, open Fleet → the vehicle → Mileage and click Sync Mileage. Trip distance and the vehicle’s lifetime odometer are different readings.
Kilometres and miles
Nomora uses the organization’s distance unit for stored odometers, distance allowances, and trip distance. Trackers report kilometres; Nomora converts those readings when importing them for an organization using miles. Enter a manual reading in the unit shown in Nomora. Do not convert a synced value again.
Speed stays in km/h. Choosing miles for distance does not convert speed to mph. See distance allowances for the rental’s agreed limit.
Remote access needs hardware
Customer remote lock and unlock use Wialon and a tracker wired and configured to operate the vehicle’s locks. Tracking location alone is insufficient. The vehicle must be marked as supporting remote unlock, and remote access must be enabled for that booking or inherited from a trusted customer’s setting.
Access is time-limited around the rental. Required signatures and customer inspections can also prevent access until completed. The customer location shown with remote access uses the same authorization window; it is not a general live map for every GPS provider.
Ask the Nomora team to confirm device compatibility and setup before promising a keyless handover. Then use the booking’s remote-access section and customer inspections to check the customer flow.
