Rental Items & Equipment

Rental items are the extras you rent out alongside (or instead of) a vehicle — GPS units, child seats, helmets, trailers, tools, insurance, cleaning fees, and so on. Create them once, and they become available as add-ons on bookings and on your customer booking links.

Where to Manage Equipment

Go to Vehicles → Equipment. You’ll find two tabs:

  • Rental Items — your inventory of equipment and extras (this page)
  • Bookings — standalone equipment rentals that aren’t tied to a vehicle

Create a Rental Item

On the Rental Items tab, click Add Item in the top-right corner and fill in the form:

  • Name (required) — what the item is called (e.g. “Child seat”)
  • Manufacturer, Model, Color — optional details
  • Quantity (required) — how many units you own. This is your stock; it’s shared across every booking that uses the item.
  • Pricing Type — how the item is charged (see below)
  • PriceBase Price / day for per-day items, or Unit Price for one-time items
  • Pricing Model (optional, per-day only) — apply tiered pricing that changes with rental length
  • Description — optional notes

Click Create Item to save. Open any item later and choose Edit Item to change it.

Pricing Type

  • Per Day — the price multiplies by the rental duration (e.g. GPS at €5/day × 4 days = €20)
  • One-Time — a fixed price regardless of how long the rental lasts (e.g. a €30 cleaning fee)

Examples

  • GPS — Per Day, €5/day, 10 in stock
  • Child seat — Per Day, €3/day, 6 in stock
  • Cleaning fee — One-Time, €30
  • Insurance — Per Day, priced per item
