Equipment Add-ons
Once you’ve created rental items, you can offer them as add-ons — extras a customer or operator attaches to a booking on top of the vehicle.
Make an Item Available as an Add-on
Add-ons are offered per vehicle class. In Settings → Booking Website, assign rental items to the classes they should appear on. For each assignment you can:
- Mark it required, so the add-on is always included for that class
- Set the order it appears in
A customer booking a vehicle in that class will then see those items as available add-ons.
Add-ons on a Booking (Operator)
Open a booking and find the pricing section. There you can:
- Add or remove equipment add-ons
- Adjust the quantity of each add-on
- Override the price or billable days for a specific booking when needed
How Add-ons Are Priced
- Per-day items — price × quantity × rental days
- One-time items — price × quantity
The price is captured at the time of booking, so later changes to an item’s base price don’t retroactively change existing bookings.
Example
A 3-day rental with:
- GPS — €5/day × 1 × 3 days = €15
- Child seat — €3/day × 2 × 3 days = €18
- Cleaning fee — €30 (one-time)
Add-ons total: €63, added to the vehicle price.
Add-ons on the Customer Booking Link
When a customer opens their booking link, the add-ons available for their vehicle class are shown for selection. For items you’ve configured with adjustable quantities, the customer can choose how many units they need before confirming. The selection flows into the booking summary and total.
Next Steps
- Adjustable Quantities — let customers pick how many units
- Currently With — track which units are out
