Claude, ChatGPT and Grok
Connect Nomora to the AI assistant you already use. Ask it about your bookings, fleet and money, and have it create bookings, record payments, send customer links and more. The assistant works on your live data and follows the same rules as the app: a new booking for a car that is already booked is refused, and every change shows up in the booking history.
Only organization admins can connect.
Connector URL
https://app.nomora.io/api/mcpClaude
- In Claude, open your profile menu and go to Settings → Connectors. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner first adds the connector under Organization settings → Connectors.
- Click Add → Add custom connector, name it Nomora, paste the connector URL and click Continue.
- Claude checks the server. Keep the settings it detects and click Add.
- Click Connect. On Nomora’s sign-in screen, choose your organization and click Allow.
ChatGPT
Whether ChatGPT lets you add a custom connector, and whether it can use the actions that change data, depends on your ChatGPT plan.
- In ChatGPT, click Plugins in the sidebar.
- Click Add → Add custom MCP server.
- Name it Nomora. Under Connection, keep Server URL and paste the connector URL. Keep OAuth as the authentication.
- Tick I understand and want to continue and click Create as a plugin.
- Click Connect Nomora. On Nomora’s sign-in screen, choose your organization and click Allow.
Grok
- Open grok.com/connectors and click New connector → Custom.
- Paste the connector URL.
- Sign in to Nomora and choose your organization.
Choosing the organization
If you belong to more than one organization, Nomora asks which one to connect when you sign in. The assistant only sees that organization. To switch, disconnect the connector in the assistant and connect it again.
What the assistant can do
It can look up the same things Nomora AI can: bookings, customers, vehicles, utilization, revenue, outstanding balances, maintenance and expenses. It can also:
- list individual expenses, so it can skip ones already recorded when you give it a file to import
- read a car’s service history
- list a booking’s documents and a car’s documents, and read the text of a booking’s contract
Documents generated from your templates come with a PDF link that works for one hour. Ask again for a fresh link.
It can also make changes:
- create a customer, and create, change, confirm or cancel a booking
- record a payment, a refund or a deposit return
- create a card payment link for an amount
- send a booking’s customer link by email or SMS, and send SMS to customers
- block out a vehicle, add a task and log an expense
- record maintenance done on a car, with its parts, labour and cost
- generate a document for a booking from one of your templates, such as the rental contract. It is saved on the booking and is not sent or signed.
- change the pickup reminder SMS text
Vehicle pickup and return, invoices, uploading documents, sending documents for signature and deleting records stay in the app.
For example, give it an expense export from another system and ask it to add the expenses that are missing, or to record the service bills as maintenance. Give it a car’s lease agreement and ask it to add the monthly payment as a recurring expense.
Handling booking emails
With your mailbox connected to the assistant as well (Gmail or Outlook, through Claude’s or ChatGPT’s own connectors), the assistant can answer booking enquiries:
- It checks which cars are free for the requested dates. It also tells you whether the Guest Book would accept those dates under your booking rules.
- It quotes the car’s price from your price list, with location fees and VAT if you add it on top. Add-ons are priced when the booking is created.
- It either sends your Guest Book link, with the dates and class filled in, or creates the customer and the booking and replies with the booking’s customer link. The customer fills in their details, signs and pays there.
It can also list booking requests waiting for your decision, and accept or decline them. Accepting with a payment link keeps the booking pending until the customer pays. Accepting and confirming sends your usual confirmation messages. Declining cancels the booking with your reason; the assistant writes to the customer itself.
Claude and ChatGPT can run this on a schedule, for example every hour. Each change still asks for your approval unless you have told the assistant to always allow it.
Before it changes anything
Assistants ask you to approve an action before they run it, unless you have told them to always allow it. Read what it is about to do before you approve.
- Changes are recorded in the history under your name, with the assistant next to it, for example Tomas (via Claude).
- Recording a payment or refund writes it in Nomora. It does not move money: pay a refund back yourself.
- An SMS sent through the assistant counts toward your SMS usage like any other.
Your data
The assistant’s provider (Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT, xAI for Grok) receives what the assistant reads from Nomora, including customer names and contact details, under your account with them. Disconnect the connector in the assistant to stop its access.
