Currently With

Every rental item draws from a single pool of stock that’s shared across all your bookings. The Currently with view shows you, at a glance, how many units of an item are out right now and exactly who has them.

Where to Find It

Go to Vehicles → Equipment → Rental Items and open any item. The item details show a Currently with section.

What It Shows

At the top, an availability summary tells you how much stock is free — for example “4 of 5 available” with a “1 out” badge when a unit is rented.

Below that, each current holder is listed with:

  • The customer (and company, if there is one)
  • How many units they currently have
  • The rental period (start and end dates)
  • A link to open the booking — View booking for a vehicle booking, or Equipment booking for a standalone equipment rental

If nothing is rented out, you’ll see “Not currently rented out” and “All units in stock.”

Stock at a Glance

In the Rental Items list, each item’s stock shows as available out of total (e.g. 4/5 units), so you can spot what’s running low without opening it.

Why It Counts Both

The same stock pool is used by:

  • Vehicle bookings that include the item as an add-on
  • Standalone equipment bookings (the Bookings tab)

Both draw down the same quantity, so the Currently with view reflects everything that’s out — however it was rented.
