Roles & Permissions

Nomora has three roles: Admin, Member, and Mechanic. Each role comes with a fixed set of permissions that control which pages and actions a team member can access.

Roles

Admin

Full access to everything in the organization. Use this role for owners, managers, and anyone who needs to handle billing or settings.

Admins can:

  • Access every page (Dashboard, Bookings, Vehicles, Customers, Maintenance, Finances, Tasks, Settings)
  • Create, edit, and delete records on every page
  • Manage organization settings and integrations (GPS trackers, payment providers, etc.)
  • Invite, remove, and change roles for other team members
  • View and manage finances and invoices

Member

Day-to-day operational role for staff who handle bookings, vehicles, and customers but should not see settings or manage finances.

Members can:

  • View the Dashboard
  • View and manage Bookings
  • View and manage Vehicles
  • View and manage Customers
  • View and manage Maintenance
  • View and manage Tasks
  • Manage vehicle Blockouts
  • View Finances (read-only — cannot create or edit invoices)

Members cannot access organization Settings and cannot manage Finances (create/edit invoices).

Mechanic

Limited role for mechanics and maintenance staff. Focused on maintenance and tasks, with edit access to existing vehicles and read-only access to bookings for context.

Mechanics can:

  • View Vehicles and edit existing vehicle details (cannot add or delete vehicles)
  • View Bookings (read-only)
  • View and manage Maintenance
  • View and manage Tasks
  • Manage vehicle Blockouts

Mechanics cannot access the Dashboard, Customers, Finances, or Settings.

  • View — Read the page and its data
  • Edit (Vehicles only) — Modify existing vehicle details, but cannot add or delete vehicles
  • Manage / Full — Create, edit, and delete records

Members are automatically redirected to the first page they have access to when logging in.
